Welcome to the Tanya Pearson Academy, a prestigious ballet institution located at 12 Frederick Street, St Leonards, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our academy has been recognized as a leading provider of elite professional dance education since 1971.

We are thrilled to announce that in 2024, world-class Principal Artist Lisa-Maree Cullum will be taking the artistic helm at Tanya Pearson Academy. Under her guidance, we are excited to launch our new youth ballet company, the Australian Youth Ballet. This new venture will provide young dancers with incredible opportunities to showcase their talent and develop their skills.

At Tanya Pearson Academy, we offer a range of programs to cater to aspiring dancers of all ages and levels. Currently, we are accepting bookings for our TPA Winter Workshops 2023, which will take place from July 12 to July 14 for juniors and July 12 to July 15 for seniors. These workshops will provide participants with an immersive and enriching experience led by our esteemed faculty.

Speaking of our faculty, we are proud to have Ballet Master Olivier Vercoutere from the Bavarian Junior Ballet Company as our special guest. Our students have the privilege of learning from over 30 highly respected teachers and choreographers who are dedicated to nurturing their creative talent and artistic voice.

Our graduates have gone on to achieve great success in the dance industry. Emily Seymour, a TPA graduate and winner of Prix de Lausanne and Youth America Grand Prix, is now a professional dancer with the Sydney Dance Company. Grace Carroll, another TPA graduate, has won the YAGP Senior Division 2019 and is currently a professional dancer with The Australian Ballet. These success stories are a testament to the exceptional training and opportunities provided at Tanya Pearson Academy.

Through our programs, including part-time, transition, boys ballet, and full-time programs, we aim to empower our students to fulfill their potential and succeed on the world stage.

The Tanya Pearson Academy has a rich history and a strong track record of producing successful graduates. Our founder, Tanya Pearson, was even recognized by the Australian Government and awarded the Order of Australia Medal for her significant contribution to the arts in Australia.
