About the Business
Welcome to Pal Buddhist School, a prestigious educational institution located at Canley Vale, First Avenue, 14 in Australia. Since our humble beginnings in 2013, we have witnessed tremendous growth and success, making us a point of interest and a top choice among schools in the region.
At Pal Buddhist School, we take pride in our holistic educational program that has proven to be effective in shaping well-rounded individuals. Our excellent results in the 2022 HSC Exams speak volumes about the quality of education we offer. We ranked an impressive #95 out of 1034 HSC Schools in NSW and achieved the #2 spot in the percentage of students achieving 95 ATAR. These achievements are a testament to our commitment to academic excellence.
Our reputation extends beyond academic achievements. Pal Buddhist School's Pal Primary ranked 18th in the wider catchment area from Strathfield to Campbelltown, as reported by our local charter from News.com.au. Additionally, we have been ranked #45 by Better Education, Australia's most popular and reliable school directory.
In terms of NAPLAN performance, our school has outperformed primary and high schools in the Fairfield City region, as reported by the Daily Telegraph. This outstanding result is particularly noteworthy for our Pal Primary, which started its operations in 2018.
One of the unique aspects of our curriculum is the incorporation of Dhamma as a compulsory subject from Year 3 through 12. Our school leaders have meticulously curated lessons that present the Buddha's teachings in both theoretical and practical formats, allowing students to develop a profound understanding of their inclinations and cultivate ethical principles to be followed in life.
We are proud to say that on average, 80% of our Year 12 cohort receives an early offer or scholarship. This achievement is a result of the multitude of leadership opportunities provided at our school, which develop key skills and experiences that universities and scholarship committees recognize and value.
Since our inception, we have expanded our horizons by becoming a registered CRICOS school for international students in 2014. This commitment to quality education led to the establishment of Pal Primary in 2018, further enriching our community.
As the first Buddhist school in NSW for Years 3-12, our founder, Mr. Panha Pal, aims not only to build a prestigious educational institution in our first-owned Leppington campus but also to create a blueprint for other Buddhist schools to follow.
With a decade of success behind us, we are excitedly looking forward to the next multitude of achievements yet to come. Join us at Pal Buddhist School and be a part of our journey towards excellence in education.
Reviews
"DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL This is not a school worth sending your children to if you value their growing development and your wallet. Are you willing to spend more than $1 000 for a school that extorts your money by directly funding Mr. Pal's life of luxury? Do you believe that the $1 000 dollars spent for your child's fees is worth the poor toilet conditions? How is it possible that the school is able to accumulate so much money from their school fees without investing funds towards basic facilities? Heavily reconsider this school, it is not worth it. These incredibly positive reviews are a fallacy. The teachers force their students to post positive reviews as a publicity stunt. TL;DR Don't go here. The money isn't worth it."
"I’m simply stating that the school could have done better than what they had intended. If you don’t want your kids to be under a ‘dictator’ who controls aspects of your child’s life then don’t send your kids there. They restrict children from being in a relationship and they constantly like to look out for your children by making other adults seem ideally bad just for v*ping or thinking that they’re all greedy people who just want your money. With recent conflicts going on in the school, they all handled it poorly and seemed eager to just move on from it. It seems like every problem can be solved by just simply looking at the ‘Dhamma’. Some teachers don’t like to show empathy, they like to make them ashamed of themselves so that they can ‘learn better.’ If you have the slightest problem about the school, they would turn you down and not say a word. Although the community is nice by itself"
"I am so glad and happy to send my 2 daughters to PAL School. My children are year 5 and year 3, they started from term 3/2021, they are in week 5 term 3 now, just only a few weeks at PAL, they had improved a lots in academy, very mindful with their studying, more responsible with their homework. Not only that, they are always thankful and appreciate with everything that they have. They help me to do some small chores at home such as clean their room, clean the table after their meals or bring rubbish to the bin after dinner. "Small people doing small things, big people doing big things" - I believe PAL is the best choice of school where providing the best learning environment for our children. PAL is not a Buddhist religion school, Pal is welcoming everyone who want to learn, live healthy and wisely. Thank you to Mr Pal, thanks to all Pal's teachers and staffs - I am very appreciate for all of your hard work and effort in teaching our children."
"I am one of the students that attend Pal Buddhist school and it has been an amazing opportunity for me to not only improve my skills but to also learn how to become a better person. This school might be small but it is the biggest family you can possibly have. Pal is a school that has shown me the right path in becoming more independent and confident as a person. This school provides you with many opportunities from helping the people in need to performing on stage and showing people what you can do. I'm really grateful that my parents applied me for this school. I've grown to accept who I am as a person and it has taught me that we all should respect our teachers, friends and family. Before I attended this school, I started off as a shy student. I had passion for singing but I kept it to myself. However, when I came to Pal it gave me the opportunity to seek self confidence and perform on stage. That has developed me a lot as a person. Not only that, the friends you make here are the friends that will stick with you no matter what. You won't find any stronger friendships than you will find at Pal. I truly believe that this school will help you grow not just physically but mentally as well. Pal is and always will be a part of family."
"This school is amazing. It helped me by allowing me to be myself unlike other schools. I made great friends that accept me for who I am and not outcast me. I used to be a quiet and shy girl a few years ago, but people here helped me to be more social and more open to new things to try out! Sure the faculties may be small and so is our school, but everyone here is like my second family. I love PAL Buddhist school and I am proud to be a student here."
