Owned and led by acclaimed chef Joseph Vargetto, Mister Bianco offers an amazing blend of modern European and traditional Italian influences. Drawing from Vargetto's heritage, style, and vision, our menu continually evolves to reflect Melbourne's eclectic seasonal food trends.
We take pride in sourcing our produce locally from around Victoria, ensuring the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Our wines are carefully selected from both local and international vineyards and wine merchants, providing the perfect complement to our exquisite dishes.
In addition to our culinary offerings, Mister Bianco is also home to Joe Vargetto's first book, 'Siciliano'. This beautifully photographed book showcases contemporary Sicilian cuisine and can be purchased from our restaurant in Kew or posted anywhere in Australia.
At Mister Bianco, we cater to all your special social occasions. Whether it's a birthday celebration, family or work Christmas party, wedding reception, product launch, business presentation, or wine dinner, our versatile venue can accommodate your needs. With seating available for up to 45 guests in our ground floor main dining room, up to 14 guests in our upstairs Oro Dining Room, up to 22 guests in our upstairs Soggiorno Private Dining Room, and up to 22 guests in our ground floor private cooking studio, Giuseppe's Cooking School, we have the perfect space for any event.
We invite you to schedule an appointment to view our venue and discuss any questions you may have. Our dedicated team is here to assist you in creating a memorable and personalized experience.
Join us for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays from 12pm to 2:30pm, and for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 5pm and continuing late into the evening.

"Please visit this place at least once! Service is excellent, very attentive and helpful. I had one of the best moscatos in my life here, and they serve really good mocktails. However, the food is the highlight here. We got fried oysters and arancini for entrees. Squid ink pasta, lamb ragu gnocchi and slow cooked beef cheek for mains. I gotta say, it’s impossible to choose a favourite dish because all of them tasted so so good. Squid ink pasta was cooked al dente with really fresh seafood. Gnocchi was really well made, chewy and soft at the same time, drenched with generous amount of sauce. Beef cheek is super tender, the meat comes off with just a soft touch with your fork. Would definitely revisit to try other dishes. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or if you’re just looking for a dinner spot!"
