Our founder, Master Fadi, has over 30 years of experience in Taekwondo and is certified as an international master instructor from the World Taekwondo Academy and Kukkiwon. He has also participated in numerous National and International Championships, showcasing his expertise and dedication to the art.
The name "Taekwondo" is derived from the Korean words "Tae" meaning foot, "Kwon" meaning fist, and "Do" meaning way of. It represents the way of the foot and fist. While the name Taekwondo has only been used since 1955, the roots of this martial art date back 2,300 years in Korea. Understanding the history of Taekwondo is an important step in comprehending its essence as a martial art and way of life.
