About the Business
Welcome to Hurstville Public School! Located on Forest Road in Hurstville, Australia, we are a primary school that is dedicated to providing engaging and educational experiences for our students. Whether you are a parent or caregiver, we invite you to join us in creating a positive learning environment for your children.
At Hurstville Public School, we believe in celebrating the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students. That is why we actively participate in Education Week, an annual celebration of NSW public education. This event recognizes the hard work and dedication of our entire school community.
We value the input of parents and carers, as their feedback is crucial in shaping the future of NSW public education. The Department of Education regularly shares draft plans and invites parents and carers to provide their valuable feedback. By working together, we can ensure that our schools continue to provide the best possible education for our students.
In addition to our regular curriculum, we also offer exciting excursions and camps for our students. For example, our Year 4 students will soon be embarking on a bus trip to the Kamay Botany Bay National Park. This excursion will provide them with a unique opportunity to explore and learn about history. Similarly, our Year 5 and Year 6 students have upcoming camps that offer valuable experiences outside of the classroom.
As an institution, we are proud to be a CRICOS Provider under the name of the NSW Department of Education. Our CRICOS Provider Code is 00588M, ensuring that we meet the highest standards of education for international students.
We would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land, the Bidjigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders, both past and present, and recognize their ongoing connection to the land.

Reviews
"NOT A GOOD SCHOOL. There was immature people, especially boys. They were very inappropriate and they keep saying AYOOOOO. It was very annoying and some were harassing students. Teachers better start doing something about this."
"There was this one teacher I won’t say who but she wouldn’t allow us to drink water or breathe. Literally, she said we drank water to loudly. But everything else is fine. My classmates, u knwo who that teacher is."
"Pathetic excuse of a school. Teachers couldn’t teach nor assist students to save their life. Tuition seems to be required in order to succeed, as the teachers don’t teach and assume the knowledge has already been acquired. A rampant bullying issue that the teachers fuel or are actively ignoring, failing to protect students that have been affected by it. Blatant favouritism and a willingness to turn a blind eye to many serious problems. Hurstville Public School has a profound ability to raise cruel monsters with no sense of empathy, further fuelling a culture of exclusion and toxicity. Cramped, stuffy classrooms, many with no air conditioning or space. Newer establishments are reserved for younger students that already have functioning classrooms, rather than two grades that have been put to demountable (not even a proper classroom). Miserable waste of land that does not deserve any of its prestige, not at all worth your time."
"great teachers, I made good friends, new classrooms and air conditioning, good OC classrooms, good library, also Zihan Jin is a nerd. Warning, the toilets are disgusting and canteen food is overpriced and I have been stolen from TWICE (my poor pokemon cards D:) but overall a good school. (totally no bias because i went to that school for 7 years)"
"Honestly, the teachers here are all very nice, most of them have very good ways of teaching. There are some teachers here and there that are not as agreeable, however, overall the teaching community is very good. However, the canteen at Hurstville public schools are not very nice at all. The foods are solved for a very expensive price and also certainly DO NOT encourage healthy eating at all. The cheapest foods are always extremely unhealthy, such as: Iceblocks, 'Milky Cups (chocolate flavored milk that are frozen), 'Icy Cups (frozen cordial water) are always the cheapest options. The canteen staff are also not very nice. The toilets seriously needs to be worked on as well. The facilities here are relatively nice, especially after the renovation of some new building. Overall a pretty good school, the canteen really has some work to do. The toilets are also appalling."
