About the Business
Welcome to Brisbane Water Secondary College Woy Woy Campus, located at Edward Street in Woy Woy, Australia. Our college was established in 2002 with the aim of providing an age-appropriate teaching and learning environment for all students.
We understand that the period leading up to the HSC exams can be a stressful time for students and their families. With so much to think about, including study and future plans, we aim to support our students every step of the way.
One of the highlights of our academic calendar is Education Week, an annual celebration of NSW public education. This event allows us to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students. It is a time to showcase the incredible work happening within our college community.
We value the input and feedback of our parents and carers. The Department of Education has shared a draft plan for NSW public education, and we invite all parents and carers to share their valuable thoughts and opinions. Together, we can shape the future of education in our community.
At Brisbane Water Secondary College, we acknowledge and respect the traditional custodians of the lands on which we learn, work, and play – the Darkinjung people. We pay tribute to the wisdom of our Elders, past and present, and recognize their contributions to our people and community. It is our mission to empower our youth, as they are our hope for a brighter and stronger future. We believe that they will become our future leaders.

Reviews
"My son needed help to finish his construction project. His teacher is amazing and has gone out of his way to help. I'm so glad there are still some teachers that go the extra mile."
"Very creaturous school, with a surprising amount of Oval Space. This is the only good thing I can say about this school as 90% of students here think they are cool or 'eshay'."
"I was at the woy woy bus stop and sat next to 2 kids seeming around year 7-8. They acted like toddlers and started littering and spitting on the floor gum and gum packets. They also started shouting at passer-by people from across the street and we’re shouting the n slur. I don’t know about you but I felt quite violated, they also were taking very loudly about someone being a Karen but I will not directly imply that it was towards me as I do not know whether or not they were talking to me. I was disgusted by the behaviour, the shame they have brought down to their school is repulsive. Brisbane water, teach your students some morals and give them some disciple."
"I ordered potato bake from the cafe for it to smell horrible and be mainly grease. According to the people working the cafe it was from 2 days ago, I dont find this acceptable as it had ham on it and they would've done 1 of 2 things which would be refrigerating it every night which isnt safe as reheating more than once makes the food more susceptible to bacteria or continuously heating it for over a couple of days which I cant imagine is good when it barely felt warm. another issue with it is also the colour. I do not recommend the cafe for anything that isnt that popular as it might be days old"
"The grounds, grass, gardens, and oval look fantastic. Obviously those two General Assistants (GAs) have pride in their school / work environment. We visited from a Northern Beaches school and were impressed. Students were also polite. Phil."
