Welcome to Ruben's Place, an exceptional institution located at Bella Vista, Lexington Drive, 14, in Australia. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we pride ourselves on providing a smooth transition from preschool or early intervention to school for our students. We understand the importance of careful planning and preparation to ensure their success.
At Ruben's Place, our primary goal is to offer comprehensive support prior to the school transition. To achieve this, we provide intensive group instruction based on the principles of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). Through this approach, we systematically teach children the necessary skills to confidently start their new school placement.
Our program is designed as a part-time placement, with children attending two days per week for a duration of 6 to 12 months before starting Kindergarten. Each group consists of four children, supported by two dedicated teaching staff members. The focus of our program revolves around fostering group participation, enhancing social skills, and developing independent routines, all crucial aspects for a successful schooling experience.
While attending Ruben's Place, we highly recommend that students supplement their time with other educational activities. These additional activities will be tailored to each child's individual needs and may include 1:1 interventions such as Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech and Language Pathology (SLP), ABA therapy, or participation in other group settings like preschool or playgroups.
We are proud to inform you that Ruben's Place is a registered NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) provider. If your current NDIS plan allows for it, your participation in our program may be funded by the NDIS, making our services more accessible and affordable for your child's needs.
