"They make you use a gold coin to get a trolley and there is absolutely never another trolley of the same size in the parking lot to allow you to clip in and get your $2 back. Last 3 times I had to return my trolley all the way to the supermarket inside, which is not at the entrance to the mall. 5 mins to return a trolley is ridiculous. The staff are friendly and will free a trolley for you if you ask, but it also takes about 5 mins to find the right staff member with a key. They should stop being cheap and just let us take trolleys without a gold coin."

"Did not like at all very busy and only had 1 person on the checkout register and didn't even bother to open another register and the lines were long customers couldn't have to use self serve checkouts and it smelt very bad in the self serve area would never go back there again."
"I’m a loyal and regular customer of Coles at northland shopping centre. I normally receive great customer service from most staff. However, during my last grocery run, I ran across a very careless and ignorant employee of theirs. I believe her name was Jess. I requested assistance with an item of mine and I approached her as she was the nearest one to me, and I wish she wasn’t. I called her multiple times and tried to get her attention but she paid me no attention to me even though we made eye contact. She rushed inside and stayed there for a while while I was desperately trying to finalise my purchase. I don’t understand why she felt the need to do that. It truly made me feel useless and invisible it’s like I wasn’t even there. All I needed was a second of her time and she failed to do so. It’s hard for me as it is to get my own groceries as I’m an old fella who can barely walk. Thanks Jess, truly a gem."
"Bought some uncooked prawns and was peeling them at home when I discovered some were rotten, heads coming off on their own with brown ooze. My guess is the fresh ones are dumped ontop of the old stuff... I binned it all and won't be buying seafood here again! The chicken kebabs and sausage were pretty good though."
