Situated within the Hawkesbury District Health Service, our university benefits from being in close proximity to a 127-bed facility that provides both public and private health services. This hospital, located in Sydney's North West, offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care, medical and surgical treatments, maternity and neonatal care, palliative and intensive care, as well as diagnostic services.

At The University of Notre Dame, we are proud to have been running successfully for over 18 years. Our success is largely due to the dedication and support we receive from the specialist consultants, local General Practitioners, and Psychiatrists from St John of God Hospital at Richmond. These professionals graciously and willingly give their time to mentor and guide our students, ensuring they receive the best education and practical experience possible.

Our School takes care of 25 students in their 3rd year for the entire year, providing them with a comprehensive curriculum and hands-on patient care opportunities under the supervision of experienced consultants. Additionally, between four and six 4th year students participate in four-week rotations throughout the year, further enhancing their clinical skills and knowledge.

One of the most gratifying aspects of our institution is seeing our graduates return to Hawkesbury as qualified doctors. These alumni actively engage with current students, sharing their experiences and knowledge, and playing an integral role in student teaching. This connection between past and present students fosters a sense of community and provides invaluable mentorship for our aspiring doctors.
