Reviews
"I think we shouldnt let silly people turn on gas heaters and almost burn the whole school down"
"Don’t know what you teach your students at school. But in public they carry on like a bunch of clowns constantly. Sort it out"
"Babbage-Hockey Incorporated ran this school back in the 1960s and since it’s transfer of ownership to Cammeraygal Official Enterprises I’ve seen nothing but great things. The incident in 2021 where a student was seen cannibalising a live human child outside the front gates. Overall fantastic school; the benefits outweigh the positives. Be careful not to get too close to the drain pipes - I’ve heard boys love crawling in those."
"This school had high hopes but as a parent who's child has been with this school for several years my experience with the school has been very disappointing. There have been reports of some serious issues of things that have happened (keep happening) at the school and that a lot of the Faculty are very uninspiring and the kids are not motivated to learn."
"Not a school that values the safety of the students... as evident in the fact that no punishment was given to a boy who stabbed another peer in the eye blatantly (this was last year). My son was in the same class at the time and treads carefully throughout the school trying his best avoiding these incidents with other kids who seemingly get hold of scalpels and act in a irrational way. This issue was a big deal and obviously the school has no clue how disciplinary reaction works after something like this takes place. I'm still waiting for an apology from the staff member in charge of the art class at the time... The teachers are inconsistent, with some putting in a great effort to teach boy and girls to a high standard within the syllabus, however the fact that there a number of other teachers who care more about the school's reputation than learning undermines a crucial problem. The Headmaster and the Deputy are great role models and leaders for the rest of the school, they have always been welcoming to my son and his friends if they required any assistance. Despite this, they need to address the aforementioned issues quickly or the complaints will continue in numbers against the safety and general well being of students. Overall, Cammeragyl High School is a school that is innovative and fairly 'fresh' in terms of facilities and learning modules, but lets itself down through some incompetent teaching from time to time and ignorance of pupil safety. What I look forward to the most in the coming years with this school is the growth and implementation of suggestions positively affecting a course of action that benefits students ability to learn and function cohesively."
