At Avalon Public School, sustainability education is a key focus. We recently installed a utility consumption display called SUMS vista in our school foyer. This innovative tool allows us to track our water and electricity consumption on a daily basis, as well as compare our performance to other schools. We encourage parents to discuss these findings with their children, as we strive to instill a sense of responsibility and promote sustainable practices within our school community.
We would also like to take a moment to acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands. We recognize and honor the contributions of Elders, both past and present.

"Covid really brought out the fact this school is incompetent at a basic level. Instead of dealing with student needs, time is spent deflecting to the parent, or spinning the narrative. I've seen little this school has done to deal with systemic bullying and addressing community misogyny and homophobia."
"This school was not the best, the teachers were uneducated (they needed to go back to school). The classrooms stank and had no air con which meant many of the students passed out and a few had to go to hospital and some stayed in a coma and have not recovered. One of the teachers was so old she d%$d in the playground because the school forgot to call the ambulance. One kid, sorry two kids in my year had raging anger issues and disrupted the class ,multiple times. one time they both left together and were found in the playground blowing snot bubbles together. frUitY. On the first day of yr 6 our new teacher took us to the beach where we were made to go into the dunes and pick u di/d0s, s@x toys, matresses, s@x dolls and multiple dr^gs in b*ngs and bags. This school truamatised me and has left me with many stories to tell my future children which will not be going to your school."
