"Great park and play area, plenty of option for kids of all ages…. parking is a bit of a nightmare and toilet facilities were pretty gross… but that’s more the users but didn’t look like they’re regularly cleaned for a public facility that’s quite busy."
"Good venue for children of various ages, from a new playground with sand play and other activities, to a huge climbing frame and flying fox for older kids. Cafe right next door, good for grabbing a coffee and relaxing while the kids play. Easy parking."
"We travelled about 30 mins to get to this park, and it was well worth it! We wanted to try it out for older kids (ages 9 and 13) and it was great! You can bring bikes, scooters and skateboards, but even if you don't, there's plenty for the kids to do. There's toilets close by, ample parking, coffee and food at the cafe's and plenty of bbq's and grass space for picnics. There's also footy/soccer fields close by for kids to kick a ball around, as well as a half basketball court.....great for a few hours out in the fresh air and sunshine! And the beach is a very short stroll away."
"Fabulous recreation precinct with activities for the whole family. The Peninsula Recreation Precinct includes a children’s park, outdoor tables and chairs for eating, the Jasmine Greens Park Kiosk, a skate park, bmx track and a play oval. The precinct is also directly opposite the beach and Surf Life Saving Club. The Children’s Park also has outdoor gym equipment located around it as well, for the adults who want to work out while the children play!!! The kiosk has coffee, cold drinks, food and alcohol for supplies during the day. My kids and I enjoyed riding around the school to precinct loop whilst I grabbed a coffee as well. BMX Park is a little run down and tends to accumulate water, but is still worthwhile having a crack at. Strong recommend from me!!!"
"The go to place to take the kids to play. It has extensive facilities and play areas for the kids ranging from a secured sand play area with pirate ship and swings for the young ones, to a much larger (VERY much larger) rope climbing setup that is simply awesome! BBQ areas, community (free) gym, bike tracks and walking paths, skate park, a cafe and close access to the beach and other eateries. The only negative: it's TOO popular with too many people on the weekends and holidays. We usually take our kids during the week."
