"Moved in across the street from the bottle shop last month and have been there 4/5 times. Today I forgot my ID - being over the age of 25 I went in anyway. I got hideously spoken to by the man even though I said I was happy to pop across the road and fetch my purse for my ID - which I did! When I got back with my ID, I said I found his tone aggressive and unnecessary and he continued to raise his voice at me and shout. Having managed bars for 5 years and recently renewing my RSA, I know the correct procedures to handling a situation like this and intimidation is simply not the way, especially when there is no hesitation to provide the correct ID when asked to do so. Horrible experience and won’t be back here."

I found a delicious limoncello here - - - and my liquor cabinet got a great head start - - - with my purchasing of all the essentials for my Prohibition-era cocktails obsession!"
"This is a great little bottleshop local in Marrickville. Come here for all your Greek liqueurs and wines especially Retsina. I really find it's worthwhile supporting local bottle shops for the convenience, and as local business operators. The prices are actually fairly comparable to the big chains as well."
