Our founder, Greg, grew up surrounded by the sea, learning the art of fishing from his Greek Dad and Grandfather on their commercial fishing boat. During school holidays, Greg would assist his family at their fish and chip shop, where he developed a deep love for seafood. Greg's Dad was also well-known at the Melbourne Fish Market for his friendly demeanor and passion for quality seafood.

In 2004, Hunky Dory opened its doors, and Greg's family was right there by his side. They have been an integral part of our journey, proudly wearing Hunky Dory t-shirts and even Greg's Grandfather continued to wear one until he was 91! We are truly grateful to witness our Hunky family grow over the years and for the love and support we receive from our customers every day.
