"I drive10 minutes to shop at this place, although the closest grocery store we have is in Ropes Crossing. Because I like to shop at this place and often the fruits are very Good and fresh. I like the owners and Quite nice people very hardworking people. I shop at their veggie stall in Parklea too. Also the boys in the shop at stmarys is quite helpful. Huge respect to these boys in the store who usually do the refilling. I have been shopping at this place from last 5 years. Main thing that pushed me to write this review. The staff at the checkout is awful and rude Words cannot explain the displeasure of these girls at checkout. Either these checkout girls need to be trained to respect the customer who is spending at the store. This girl served me over the weekend in February, she just had no sense of understanding a customer, not to mention there was a another with same customer experience. She just shoved all the frozen veggies and onions other dried foods Newzealand Ghee $17.00 for 500gms on the bottom. I spent $84 approx . As soon as I noticed I asked her to put this in a different bag to dried packets. She is just rolling her eyes and put the onion bag on the the table, she doesn’t even wanted to help handing my bag into hands as I got the second in my hands. By the time I reach home the ghee glass bottle is broken and leaked. Is it worth my trip to you guys and supporting you guys and expect such a UNwelcoming customer service. These girls are the face of the business, I believe the owners don’t know how rude these girls and I am writing this after experiencing similar situation. One girl asked me to take the item back to where it was as I mistakenly put extra item in my basket. Wish you all the best & Honestly I have decided to spend the money somewhere where they treat the customer with respect rather than spending somewhere they humiliate me by spending at your business."

"The girl working at Parklea Markets' checkout (on Friday 9 Jul 2021 around 11:30am) is very rude. We bought 3 bunches of vegetable (were charged $6). Handed her $10. Then she gave back a receipt while chatting with another customer in their language. We asked her about the $4 change. Then her attitude went bad and said she gave us the $4 change and asked to check our pockets. Then requesting check our bag. We showed her whatever in pockets and bag in case we made a mistake. NO, SHE DIDN'T GIVE US CHANGE. Meanwhile, she started talking to another customer feels like we were trying to fraud her. She gave back the change after we insist her to check their CCTV (they have cameras installed). Everyone makes mistakes but her attitude was rude and unacceptable!"

"They sell the Island products that my family like in the one spot. Well worth the drive. I don't pay attention to customer service as I only have them ring the goods up. Usually quite busy which is a good sign as they seem quite popular."
