"I am nearly 70 years old and decided to try a new hairdresser. I have multiple health issues and chronic depression and because of the COVID-19 shutdown I was desperately in need of a good cut and colour. I attended the salon on Thurs, Nov 12th and Tennille who I assumed was the Manager sat me down and started talking to me. I told her I wanted a reddish auburn colour to help lift my dull hair and hopefully lift my somewhat downtrodden spirit and as I had always done in the past with other hairdressers, I ultimately left the colour choice, in what I thought was her professional hands. I was charged $36.00 more than my previous hairdresser for the same procedure. I came home and was not happy with the hair colour as it was much darker than I wanted so I rang Tennille to tell her I wasn't happy with the colour and needed a few highlights to lift the dark colour. She was not very happy with me and said I had chosen the colour which was not the case because I'd left the final colour selection with her but she said I could could come back but I would have to wait a week until today, Fri 20th. I went in today, and Tennille said the hair was the colour I'd chosen, which wasn't the case and she then spoke with her unnamed associate who then came over to me and spoke to me in such a condescending tone with no respect whatsover for my age and was telling me to select a colour. I'm not a hairdresser and I had no idea what colour to choose to put a few red highlights in my hair. She continued in her abhorrent tone and sarcastically said to me did I want her to put pink in my hair and I was becomming quite angry with her attitude towards me and I asked her if I was going to be charged for the tips to which she said of course. I was quite taken aback by her comment because on the odd occasion in the past when the colour was not what I wanted the hairdresser would not charge me to fix up the problem. They were more happy with the customer's satisfaction. I decided to not to go ahead and I stormed out and told them I would not be putting a good review online which I'm doing. I have never ever been treated by any hairdresser in the past like I have with salon and I will definitely not be returning there and would certainly not recommend Top Cut Hair Salon to any of my friends."
