"This house is VERY unclean and does not reflect the "enhanced clean" posed on their site/ Airbnb description. The house did not look like the photos the host posted, and is VERY misleading. It is very obvious that the photos posted are old photos and has not been updated. Upon arriving to the property and inspecting it, there were webs all over the gates, the pool was green (of algae), and the carpets, walls, and tables had stains in them. Clearly not "sanitised". The fridge as well as the kitchen was not clean so we did not use the kitchen to cook at all. Parts of the property was already damaged such as inside of the unclean fridge. The owner has blamed us on false claims and pre-existing damages. Looking at other people's reviews on this house, it seems like we are not the first people she has tried to scam. The pool and the overall hygiene of the place poses as a health and safety threat (interior and exterior). The quality of the house is poor and I would definitively recommend for those who do decide to rent this house in the future, is to read all the reviews of this house, and take BEFORE and AFTER photos when staying in this house. Overall, poor hospitality and very disappointing . I do NOT recommend staying here at all. EDIT: In response to your ignorant reply, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the fact that YOUR house is disgusting. Do not blame us for the lack of quality of your house. In evident of all the other reviews, your property is already "run down", "stained", "unclean", "damaged items". The way you can just us blame things on us with your assumptions is ridiculous. If you want to accuse us of the broken glass in the pool, show us a video from your "security camera" doing so. Your arguments lack authentication."

"!WARNING DO NOT STAY OWNER IS A SCAM ARTIST! As like everyone, we have been looking for a place to have a weekend getaway and catch up with friends after this lockdown mess. Place looked alright in the listing, despite the price. It was $1000 a night for a night at this run down place by the way. We figured it was like a "covid-tax" or something, and from the photos and description the place sounded good enough for a quick getaway. On arrival, it was clear that the photos in the listing were enhanced; the place was run down with webs along gate railings, dirty stained carpets, slimy unkept pool. There's a whole other bunch of 'smaller' nit-picky complaints, for instance: -A lot of the rooms didn't have locks, there's no privacy -Awkward positioning of power points; a lot of the points in bedrooms were blocked off -Kitchen utensils & weber dirty and pretty much unusable Despite all of this, we accepted it for what it was and that the house was less-sparkling than expected and still had a good catch up. We had initially planned to leave decent reviews. That's where the complete 180 turn happens. A few hours after returning home from our weekend we are being accused of damages such as staining carpet, damaging cupboards, and damaging the pool, totalling to a sum of over $1500. These claims are absurd in that they especially contradict what happened during our stay, which makes me believe even more that this person scams visitors like this with vile intention. For instance, owner claims we damaged her pool. My recollection says it was a rainy day and never once went in the pool or the beach for that matter. Owner claims we damaged the cupboards, when reality is we ordered pizza after seeing the state of the kitchen, and the effort in going to sanitise everything before use would be more than the effort of picking up some takeaway. There's also the issue of the owner looking through the garbage bin, supposedly in an effort to look for anything to photograph and report to Airbnb to squeeze more money out of honest visitors. It raises the question of the integrity of the security camera at front, and what sort of privacy you truly have, when the owner stoops as far as to search through your trash. At this point it is our word against the owners, but if you do intend to stay, make sure you do all the research, take video evidence of the place on arrival, and overall maybe just avoid this place. It's a bigger headache than it's worth. ALSO, if you check out the reviews, make sure to read them all. If you look closely all the high ratings appear to be generic and Chinese, evidently to bump up the ratings for the place. Hope this helps."

"House was very spacious, lots of rooms. However, that was the only good thing about this place. The house itself was extremely old and run down and looked nothing like the photos on any booking sites. Hours after arrival, after some attempts to get the spa to work, we were then notified that it was not working. It should have been stated in the description details; extremely disappointing that it had not been fixed prior to our stay. The lock to one of the bathrooms were also broken and throughout the day, our group would continuously walk in on one another while it was occupied. The carpets were dirty and one of the couches had a rip in it; the walls were scuffed upon arrival, and the outdoor chairs and tables were not cleaned and had dirt and spider webs all over them. Overall, the condition of the house was appalling. Lastly, after leaving the residence, we were requested by the host to pay $1500 in damages that were already pre-existing damages. We were shocked as we had been careful throughout our stay as we had taken into consideration the fragile state of the house. Would not stay at this place again and would recommend others not to either."

"The holiday house had plenty room for my big family. It was clean and homey and the pool kept my kids entertained. I loved the stroll along the beach too.It was a great getaway stay."

"owner has kept our deposit even though it falls within cancellation period, 6 months in advance to be exact. They cancelled our accommodation and kept $2600. not even a partial refund back and have rebooked other guests. very unsatisfied with this person would not recommend to anyone. If they had refunded as promised and stop blaming booking agent this review would not exist. host continues to blame booking agent, agent would take a fee but not take the 2350 owed to us as promised by host."
