"We were upgraded and were treated so very, very well! The room was incredible - the buffet breakfast at Amora hotel was exceptional and the location was central to so many sights. The staff were amazing and kind and friendly. I think other hotels could learn so much about how to treat customers nicely from the staff at The York. We will definitely be back!!"
"Spent three nights here while visiting Sydney. Our room was excellent with all the facilities you would expect from an apartment. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is right near Wynyard railway so getting around the city is easy."
"I would like to thank our travel agent Sascha Mc Rae at Chimo Travel for getting a great rate with breakfast included at this beautiful hotel our room1308 has a comfortable bed everything is so clean and the room's are so spacious .The balcony is so lovely to admire the city views. It is so easy to get to anywhere the light rail is 5 min's walk down Jamison St to George St and the Metro leads to Woolworth, so handy.The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful breakfast that was included just across the street everything so fresh and so much variety. I would highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay."
"We stayed just one night for Vivid, location was great, easy to get out and about. Only used the tea making facility so can't comment if everything was working. Shower was fantastic and much needed after hours of walking around the city. Bed and pillows were comfy so overall a happy experience, there was a lot of noise downstairs in the laneway which was a problem but hotel can't help that."
"I stayed at the York Hotel after a cruise. The staff were friendly and helpful. As the room comes with its own washer and dryer, I figured that I would do some laundry. Washer would not work and the staff had their maintenance guy come and look at it. They replaced the washer with in an hour. The day I was heading to the airport it happened to be a day that the trains weren’t working. So it was almost impossible to get a cab. The hotel called a friend of his, and had a cab within 20 minutes. Everyone was so helpful. Also, the rooms are the size of a one bedroom apartment. With a kitchen, living room and bedroom. I recommend The York to anyone who is going to Sydney."
