"Sage 2160 is found inside Merrylands RSL Club. There is nice comfortable furniture. And there is a nice play area for the kids next to the place. We ended up here because the line to the buffet was so long. However the food is not too good and not too badly priced. I had the Char Kway Teow which is tasty with big prawns. It's not the best I've ever had but decent."
"Mediocre food, aswell as unwelcoming customer service. First time at Sage restaurant, eager to try it out. Ordered a ‘Grilled John Dory’, fish was overcooked, dry and tasteless. Aswell as ‘Half a rack of BBQ Pork Ribs’, cant taste anything but bbq sauce that smothers the ribs leaving pork ribs tasty porkless. Side salads were wilted, old and sad. Customer service is what brings the rating down even more. Not too sure if he was a supervisor or manager but overall, rushed our order so he could answer his phone. For the price of the food, service should be atleast above average but unfortunately the service created a less enjoyable experience. 2 stars for the well cooked chips"
"Decent steak steak for a RSL. Liked the pizza, better than some gourmet places. Staff is a little slow but friendly. Only disappointment is the chips, a little raw."
