"I went to Beauty Emporium to have my eyebrows tattooed on the recommendation of my daughter who went to school with the owner of this establishment . I am 54 and my eyebrows are woeful; sparse, oddly shaped, thin, can barely see them. I just wanted to feel pretty. I spoke with the owner about shape, thickness, showed her a photo of Ashley Judd’s eyebrows. Can you do that? Yes. Two hours later I walked out of Beauty Emporium with thin, high-arched brows that looked nothing like Ashley Judd’s brows and nothing like anything that I had asked for for an entire hour prior to the procedure. I walked out of Beauty Emporium looking like Cruela Deville from 101 Dalmatians. I told the owner I was not happy. She still charged me $500. I did not return for the ‘follow up’ visit as I did not trust her to follow my wishes after the first disaster. Instead I went to a more experienced beautician to ask If she could rectify the disaster from Beauty Emporium. She had no words beyond “what happened here?” She measured, she drew a map on my face and gave me brows I wish I had been born with. She fixed Beauty Emporium’s complete screw up. I saw their hygiene management. Zero. The place is filthy. I was in a tizz about the cleanliness of the utensils they were using. I will never go back there. I didn’t post a review earlier because my daughter recommended her school friend. But really, what’s wrong is wrong. This person at Beauty Emporium clearly has no idea what she’s doing, and her establishment is filthy."
