"Simply incredible. A beautiful boat that offers a relaxing evening sailing up the Shannon with fantastic food on board. The staff are such good fun and always up for a laugh. Worth every penny paid and on a sunny day you'll find no better place to have lunch with a cruise in Athlone."

"Absolutely amazing experience. Beautiful boat with great staff. Nothing like tucking into some gorgeous food while sailing through the Shannon. It was the highlight of my trip to Athlone."

"I can defiantly recommend this company, we were welcomed on board given complementary tea and coffee. Half way through strawberries and cream with a beer. Hospitality was perfect and relaxing. Not overcrowded like the rest of the cruises, max 12 people and peaceful. Thanks again!!"

"I booked an afternoon tour of Lough Ree for my 10-year old daughter and myself a couple years ago when this tour was still unrated and unreviewed on TripAdvisor, a bit of a risk since there was little information on the vessel or the tour elsewhere on the Internet. We couldn't be more pleased with our tour. The crew of the Romaris, a beautifully and painstakingly restored 50-year old wooden yacht, was exceedingly gracious, kind, and outgoing. My daughter was treated to a large pot of tea which she lightened and sweetened to taste and I had a lovely glass of wine... and was offered a second! When asked by a German couple on the tour if sparkling water was an option, the captain briefly left the vessel only to return with sparkling water and glasses choked with ice and wedges of lime. Whether you want a bit of peace and quiet and solitude on the open water or an informative guided tour of the lough and River Shannon, you will get more than your reservation fee's worth. As we made our way back to the mooring at the quay, a heavily advertised alternate tour was just boarding and the passengers were simply packed in; I've read their reviews. Not good. You would be foolish to choose another way out on the water."

"Two good guys and a relaxing stroll up the river. A tour at your own pace; you could sit on the deck in silence or go inside and chat with other members of the tour and the crew. Great for families, or small groups. I had a great time with just my father and I."
