Welcome to the Leitrim Tourist Office! Our visitor information center is located in the heart of Carrick-On-Shannon, overlooking the beautiful Shannon River. Our building, The Old Barrel Store, is a charming historic landmark that has been transformed into a modern and inviting space.

"Carrick, as it is known locally, is a very pretty town, vibrant, lively and with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. As a county town it has far more facilities that another town of its size might enjoy. Needless to say the River Shannon is a big attraction. The tourist office is informative, staff are friendly and helpful. The office serves the town and the surrounding countryside. One of my favourite things about Carrick is that it has an excellent bookshop"
