"This gem is worth traveling miles for!! We arrived soggy, hungry and thirsty close to 5pm but nothing was too much trouble. The staff, customers and fire were welcoming. Our vacation was coming to an end and just when I thought I had tasted the best Seafood Chowder then came yours. I am still raving about it two weeks after arriving home. This alone would have been the highlight!! The fish and chips appeared and that was highlight number two!!! The lass even apologised when my lemon had fallen off the fish - what sense of humor!! The indulgent coffees rounded off the meal. We then had a chance to chat with everyone and that truly was the HIGHLIGHT of our visit. A huge thank you to everyone who made our visit spectacular. Will visit again. Best wishes from Northern Ireland and Connecticutt USA"

"START THE CAR! BEST GUINNESS ON Tap Along the Wild Atlantic Way! If you are the type who loves beaches, beer and great pub food then the family-run Anglers Rest Bar is not to be missed! The chicken tenders and chips were so good my daughter said, "This is the best moment of my life!" LOL. The homemade battered fish and chips was so fresh I think the cod jumped out of the Atlantic ocean onto my plate. I had my first Guiness ice cold (as it should be!) and now am a big fan! Friendly local service, top quality fare and excellent prices make this pub top of the list! Plus the beaches in this area are INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL!"
