"Me, my partner and my pet dog stayed at One Rock Lodge for 3 days. Willy is an absolute gentleman, extremely friendly and welcoming. He has so much information and advice for you to make the most of your stay. He also made us delicious breakfast and coffee every morning. The room is perfect, clean, well heated and has a spectacular view of Croagh Patrick. The private bathroom has a wonderful shower and the wifi is really good. Would 100% recommend anyone to stay with Willy over going to a hotel. I know that we will be definitely coming back to One Rock Lodge."
"We were lucky enough to stay almost two months in this warm and spacious B&B, with my son. Well located, quiet, it remains close to the main axes which will allow you to discover all the wonders of Mayo His host, Willy is remarkable, He was able to accompany us, guide us, advise us on our entire project, We were able to hike with him In forest On the heights of Achill Island where we saw a Basking shark Climb Croagh Patrick and Nephin At sea with his boat But also swimming in the open sea and seeing many dolphins, we were very lucky because the dolphins are very wild here, and do not show themselves so easily, He was able to advise us for our cycling adventure on the Green Way from westport to Achill Island Make us discover beautiful lakes too Willy is also a good cook, if, like us, you take the formula with breakfast (typical Irish, hearty) and evening meal or lunch you will appreciate his dishes and even these wonderful homemade desserts! I absolutely recommend this B&B with its magnificent little pond where pretty Koi carp roam Thank you again Willy"
