"Gorgeous lunch with my family. Portion sizes very generous, the food was really tasty and the service was excellent. Will definitely stop again when nearby"

"I’ve dined here on several occasions always found the service and food to be good. However, I went for a meal 3 weeks ago and the way the manager treated and spoke to me was highly unprofessional. I was halfway through dinner service, and on my SECOND drink when a waitress approached me to say her manager thinks I look ‘fierce young’ and ask for my ID. I explained that you request ID when a drink is ordered, and don’t interrupt a BUSY dinner service to ask for ID, especially when the customer is on their SECOND drink. The waitress went and informed the manager of our conversation, to which he proceeds to stare at us from a distance making us feel uncomfortable. As if that wasn’t enough, he approached our table, my boyfriend in particular, and said ‘have we a problem here?’ In a very rude manner. I explained my side of the story, saying he should’ve asked me for ID when I ordered my first drink, he said ‘I didn’t see you come in’. And when I told him that wasn’t my problem he walked away saying ‘forget about it’ and a hand gesture swatting me away. May I also add, When we came in, he was sat at the table right next to us chatting with another member of staff, possible also management. So, he didn’t see me come in yet was sitting next to me for my whole meal, as a manager your job is to observe, he failed to do so. I also work in this industry myself and I know how to approach a situation like this, and it’s the opposite of everything they done that day. Safe to say I won’t be returning"

"I had a birthday celebration there a few days ago with my family and it couldn't have gone better. Everyone enjoyed their food. The menu was varied and interesting, something for everyone. The service was great. It was our first visit and we'll definately be back."

"This is a nice eating house. They have a nice menu and cater for meat, fish and veg lovers alike. Alice and Emma were very pleasent and efficient. The ambience is nice with music memorabilia on the wall. They also have a bar. Worth stopping by."
