"Food was very good and served promptly with good service throughout. However price was a bit too high €30 for the steak and €21 for the sea bass is a bit too steep could afford to be just a wee bit more reasonably priced. Good Beer as well !"

"Lovely bar and restaurant with a lovely view of the River Shannon. We had their beef burger with hand cut chips for lunch and the meal was super tasty. There is also the original bar at the back which is kept as working museum piece. Definitely worth a visit. Great food and very friendly service from the owner. There is also a very lovely little takeaway at the back called "The Hatch" serving coffees and baked goods."

"Excellent accidental pit stop turned into a delicious lunch with amazing hospitality. Beautiful views of the Shannon river and perfect 1/2 pint by the fire. We didn't get your names, but thank you for the warm fire, yummy food and very cool tour. We will never forget it!"
