The Cedar Clinic

"I was calling to Cedar Clinic today 28 of February, the first time I was for 14 minurtes aprox. on the line waiting for someone in order to book an appointment for my daughter, sudenly the phone hung up. I called again and I was waiting for another 12 decent minutes, this time a lady attend me. My daughter (3 years old) was the previous night in MIDOC because one of her hears was suppurating, treatment started with MIDOC and this doctor indicates me that my daughter has to be review 3 days later by her GP, so I try to book an appointment for Friday and it was not possible, I was told to call in Friday morning to check if there is any space available. I ask for thursday or Monday (one day earlier or two days later), not possible, and her answer was "call early on Friday, we will see if there is any space available or we will check where we can send you". OK, now my analisys: * If their own GP ask a patient to came back on two days, how does it done? * How do they follow up an evolution of a patient that has been refered by the hospital or MIDOC? * If there is no space 3 days before, how do they get space the same day? * When this lady told me we will check where we can send you. Is she thinking to send me to the hospital for a follow up?, another GP? I have been in this clinic before, but honestly, the people in reception and on the phone has no sense many times and no empathy, deal with them is hard and mad. on the other side to be fair doctors are very easy to approach, easy to speak with them and very communicative, explaining everything."

"So I know people personally who have attended this clinic for serious mental health issues. The cedar failed to refer them further for a diagnosis after weeks. This clinic will tell you they will help you and then not follow up on it, while in the mean time your not taken seriously and could cause harm to yourself and others. Should be absolutely ashamed of themselves to disregard patients mental health like that as if they aren't crying out. I'm absolutely disgusted at how they treat people. No regard for the patients needs or the family dealing with that situation. It's just here's a few tablets and off you go. That is not medical care that is a brush off! Avoid at all costs"

"This clinic needs to be review by an external auditor, as they are providing sub standard service to the public. Never answer phones, often make mistakes. Staff in general and not just administration and reception. If they had a login p[portal for clients to see results they would save themselves a lot of time and free up staff to focus on major issues currently facing this practise. This is my 6th unanswered call today currently as I'm writing this."

"Absolutely terrible service the receptionists are so rude! Can never get an appointment and have to give them a reason as to why I need to see a doctor before they will give you an appointment even though it’s confidential! Would not recommend to my worst nightmare!"
