"We love going here when we visit family in Castle Connell. There's always a great atmosphere and the customers and staff are really welcoming and friendly. The place looks small from the front but it's like a TARDIS. It's changed massively since we were last there about six years ago. We watched a band in the back room, there's also a bar in there for convenience."
"We had our wedding reception in October 22 in Bradshaws. We visited Margaret and Podge in February 22 to view their pub and from then to the actual day they went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. The decor was gorgeous and all our guests were so surprised to move from a drinks reception in the front bar to the back area where we spent the rest of the night. The catering was excellent and there was an abundance of choice and generous portions. All our guests are still saying how good a night it was and how nice the venue was. This was honestly all down to Margaret and Podge’s hard work. This was the perfect venue for us - we had 85 guests and everything about the day exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Margaret and Podge for making the day so special."
"Went there for first time Saturday night for my brothers 60th surprise birthday and to be honest just amazed by the size of the pub inside with huge catering area ,friendly staff lots of empty plates after food was served. Looks like a great local pub."
