"Here recently for a party. The staff are great. Drinks selection is good. The bar is very very clean. Decent smoking area with benches outside. I don't love the layout but there isn't really anything the owners could do about that. I think its brilliant that they are connected to their other bar next door. The bar name is a brilliant nod to one of Clare's most overlooked figures, who is mostly remembered for watching a woman brush her hair across the River Fergus. Tom Steele had a wild life that goes far beyond stalking a local woman."
