"We just asked about the bus times and the lady that was there at the time was very helpful!"
"Horrible! Visited on the morning of 27th of March, 2019 and the man behind the counter ignored me whilst he browsed Facebook. He seemed genuinely annoyed to be pulled away from it when I asked about walking up to the Cliffs of Moher. He was very unhelpful. I would have received better information from stopping a local on the street."
"Clare was an amazing host. Handled difficult customers with skill and laughter. Due to inclement weather she offered to refund fare before we even asked. Did so with warmth and professionalism. Community fortunate to have her as a spokesperson for tourism."
"John Fitzgerald is the person at the Tourist Info center (next to Hotel Doolin) that was most helpful to us. In fact, if it were not for John, our trip would have completely ruined. We had rented a cottage that wasn't up to standards and having no telephone and poor wi fi access, John made calls for us, suggested how to handle our situation, where to go to purchase computer necessities, throw away phones, food, etc. He mapped out everything for us as well. He was available to us at all times and extremely helpful. I understand why the previous reviewer gave a one star because on John's day off we didn't receive near the attention and information we rec'd from John...he went out of his way and was exceptional."
"Terrible. We called in to ask if there was a decent hotel with a family room available. The woman behind the counter told us that the hotel was full because there had been a big wedding and that the 200 guests had also filled the B&Bs in the town. “Luckily” she had just had a call from the owner of a B&B who did have a family room available, which she told us was a mile (actually 3KM so nearly twice that) up the hill and well outside town. She called ahead to confirm and was quite particular that we should go straight there as the room was being held for us, which we therefore did. After checking in and walking back down into the town, almost every B&B had a Vacancies sign up. There was no sign of anyone else at all staying in our B&B, which I can only suppose belonged to a relative of the Tourist Office woman."
