"Great to see a real family run place with fantastic Irish hospitality and lovely food. Had the chicken dinner and it was great"

"The most gracious hosts and excellent comforting food. Shepherd’s Pie special was excellent, little fried croquette additions were bangin’. We also enjoyed the vegetable soup with fresh bread and butter. Guinness pint was perfect. Also, really cool antique chair in back on the way to the toilets that was owned previously by the lead singer of The Cranberries."

"On our first visit to Ireland in 2019, my son, Ryan and I, stopped into the Arches for our first meal. John, the owner, became an instant friend and such a helpful guide as we sought advice and directions during our stay. We went back numerous times during our two week stay. The food at The Arches is phenomenal!! Everything home cooked, service is fantastic, prices are very fair, and the atmosphere is second to none! FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!"

"Stumbled across this place while driving trough and looking for a lunch spot. We were so happy we found it. I had the bangers & mash, and my wife had the ham and cheese sandwich. We were both very pleased with our meal. Prices were reasonable, and the service was so friendly and great. We would highly recommend to anyone in the area."
