"The hygienist visit was an awful experience. She needled over my hypersensitive teeth in such a rush, as if her life depended on it. The pain was so intense i had to grab a chair i was lying on. No anaesthetic or anything. At the end of this nightmare I got yet another lecture on how to properly brush/floss my teeth... And my teeth are squeeky clean and always flossed. So may be there are other reasons why the gums might be receding or bleeding? Those reasons are obvious actually, but nobody ever discussed them with me. It is easier for them to repeat same lecture time after time, like a parrot, instead of digging into the problem and trying to find a solution/ treatment."
