"I needed some extra thick steaks for a BBQ and the lady butcher cut me nice thick striploins. They were excellent cooked medium rare, tender and with superb flavour. As a traditional butcher Fitzgerald's are a great but sadly dying out example of the best. We need to support all our local shops or we will end up with lifeless villages and towns."

"Fabulous butchers with amazing tasty food! Try the pudding sausages or the Guinness and leek sausage rolled together and perfect for the BBQ. I love the chicken goujons but the whole families favourite is the brisket. I've never tasted beef so tender! It comes in the oven proof packet with instructions so you can't go wrong. Definitely worth a visit."
