"I went to MR Goold last year for a small case in Macroom district. While it turned out fine, it was not a pleasant experience, primarily due to a lack of info and service from Mr Goold and his team. I was forced on several occasions to ring each day to even get a call back from Mr Goold, this went on for a few weeks, causing me severe stress running up to the court date. He is very poor at getting back to you, and giving you info you need, you will have to work for it. Another friend had a court date this year, due to the cost of which, I recommended Mr. Goold, as there are few other solicitors in Macroom. Again, the situation was repeated, with repeated calls to the office met with silence and a lack of info, and to make it worse, on the day before the court date, we were informed he could not do it, and had switched it to another firm, that day before, without contacting the defendant, or giving any sort of notice whatsoever. Shocking, to say the least, and truly indicative of the lack of care shown by Mr. Goold on two occasions this year. I'd recommend getting someone who costs more, as this guy is not worth his salt in the least."
