"We recently had a kitchen designed and fitted by Cash and Carry Kitchens- Tramore Road, Cork. We are delighted with the result. It looks amazing and has been fitted with great care and attention by the fitter Mike Roche. The designer Niamh Hennessy did a super job and her suggestions have worked out really well. The team generally were extremely helpful and there was no delay on any of the dates set out in the planning and we found those we dealt with (Kathleen and Catherine come to mind) were always helpful and responsive. "SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Very poor service. Bought a new kitchen and utility room for a new build and our fitting was pushed out twice after delivery of the materials leaving our kitchen/living area unusable. The staff are extremely disorganised. Their fitter left every cutting, scrap and piece of rubbish in our home following fitting. The C&C designer also had errors in our kitchen design (range cooker and microwave dimensions incorrect even though their fitter provider said measurements to the designer). Their staff lied to us on more than one occasion stating that these errors were rectified in their design after we left the showroom and that new parts were ordered for our kitchen, without our consent. However, their fitter confirmed that they had provided him with fitting details which included their inaccurate measurements. Additionally, the designer did not explain that the dimensions of some items as displayed in the showroom were augmented for our kitchen. C&C now refusing to take responsibility for these errors, and are stating that it is not the designer’s responsibility - but the customer’s responsibility to ensure their designer’s work is accurate and correct. They attempted to rectify the issue by moving a cabinet off the wall without adequate materials which would leave a gap underneath our microwave - visible from eye level. Additionally they ordered the wrong quantity of handles for our kitchen, and it is still unfinished over 3 weeks later. Nightmare from start to finish! Only concerned with their costs and not customer satisfaction. Avoid at all costs."
