Leavys Shoes

"Very disappointed with the curt service I received. I have shopped here for years, always had friendly service. I bought a pair of shoes late on a Saturday which felt very comfortable in the shop, when I went to wear them the next day I found them to be quite loose as I walked in them. I brought them back to Leavys on the Monday. I was informed very curtly that I could choose something else or a credit note. They didn't have another pair of what I had bought (sale item) when I explained the problem and showed the assistant what was happening she still repeated no refund policy I asked to see a manager. The manager was just as abrupt pointing out to me that "you were happy with them when you bought them " When I queried was the size incorrect she actually told me that there is no such thing as sizes anymore because of different manufacturers. I couldn't believe her response. I was quite taken aback (no such thing as shoe sizes) she was so unhelpful. I said that I have shopped there for years and had never heard anything like this she told me Well I've worked here for years !!! What I had bought was a relaxed fit which hadn't been mentioned to me when I purchased them, but the fact that my feet were slipping out of them when I walked was a bit more than relaxed fit. I will never step foot inside the store again, but if you order on line you can get a refund Very very disappointed."
