Reviews
"We had the experience of visiting the Old Head Golf Links when we went there for dinner after a friendly local recommended it us while out on a walk. I can only imagine how grate it would be to play the course but we got the experience of its beauty from the restaurant and it’s patio that over looks the course to the lighthouse and sea. The scenery is stunning. We ate inside the restaurant because it was pretty windy when we were there but it also has a very large outdoor patio that has lots of space to sit relax and eat or just take in the views. The food was very good and the staff was very friendly. Our experience of the Old Head Golf Links and restaurant was one of our favourite meals and experiences on our Ireland trip and the memory still comes up every once in a while in our conversations. We all said we would come back here again if we are back in Ireland."
"Absolutely amazing course! Having just played Pebble in March I dare say this is like Pebble on steroids. Our caddie Chris Fergus was super helpful and made our round special with photos, good stories, great green reads and shot recommendations. If you can get a tee time it is absolutely worth the cost and time from the trip. Wish I could give 6 stars."
"What an incredible experience. While golfing there and learning that this course is only 25 years old to me was completely astonishing every every detail is attended to and this course looks like it's been here for 230 years if you get the chance to play... Take it without thinking... The staff was amazing the food was very good and the views breathtaking. We had the opportunity to rent a helicopter for one hour to fly around the peninsula at old head as well as other parts of Ireland can't say that that's included in the experience as we were lucky but again and a course absolutely worth worth visiting for travelers and of course locals alike"
"This place is amazing with stunning views. Unfortunately I played the back nine in 35 mph sustained winds and driving rain. The ball would move on the greens while your trying to putt. I lost my balance several times while trying to hit. Just brutal conditions. This is a must play but be prepared for the rain and winds. I will be back and hopefully better weather."
