"My wife and I scheduled our honeymoon with loose ideas if what we wanted to do, but not sure exactly how. The front desk at the Ballyseede Castle called a few tour guides and that's when the stars started to align. They found Mary for us and it was honestly one of the best days of my life. Mary is so kind and sweet and insanely knowledgeable about Kerry. She is well traveled and extremely experienced in all sorts of tours (walking, driving, etc.) in multiple countries; all of which was immediately noticeable. Mary made sure that we went to everywhere we wanted, took every picture we wanted, while never once rushing us and even often stayed in the car while we got out to see the sights and take some pictures. She took us to a fairy fountain and a secluded castle that very few people even seemed to know about. We saw terapod tracks and a slate quarry, she even took us through Knightstown and to Portmaguire for one of the best Beef and Guinness stews I have ever had in my life. We got to see the Skellig Isles from a distance and even more sights that ARE NOT a part of the coach tours. We got what I am officially calling the Ultimate Ring of Kerry tour; the normal tour plus the above mentioned stops. I took over 170 pictures and could have taken twice that. Mary picked us up at 9 AM (in a beautiful Mercedes) at our hotel and then dropped us off at 6 PM (18:00), without ever batting an eye if we wanted to make an extra stop or two. If you have a small group BOOK HER! You will not be upset that you did. This tour was worth every single Euro and then some. I wish I could take her with us when we head up north to Galway tomorrow. Do yourself the favor, do your group the favor, and choose this woman. I can not say enough how much of a positive impact she had on us, our day, our trip, and our honeymoon; she will be a part of our story for the rest of our days.
