"A lovely place for a late lunch. The barman was friendly and the food was tasty. My husband had some really tasty chicken wings and I had a seafood platter. Many thanks"
"Seemed a well run bar to me with plenty of staff on. Not overly crowded but a good atmosphere. People were drinking cocktails and pints, I had an iced coffee for the first time. It was OK. Didn't have food as it was a late visit. My kind of pub."

"Shambolic. Arrived with 3 hungry kids , waited 20 minutes for table , order taken and drinks delivered promptly by friendly efficient waitress , about 20 minutes later lady who appeared to be in charge apologised for delay and said there was s few orders backed up in the kitchen, 20 minutes later asked same lady if at the very least the kids meals could be provided 5 minutes later young waitress sent out to inform us they'ed run out of the fish and chips ordered for the kids some 45 minutes earlier. Paid drinks bill and left with 3 now Hangry kids in tow. Needless to say lady in charge did not appear to offer as much as an apology."
"Wonderful food and great service as well. Good selection of beers on tap, some of them being local Irish craft brews. I had the slow roasted lamb with pea and mint dressing. My wife had the roast beef. Both were simple, but still very tasty. I like that they let you salt the food so it doesn't come out too salty. Second time I had the burger, but being American I have high burger standards and this one just fell a little short."
