Green Acres Caravan Park

"We've been staying at 4 campings in Ireland so far, and this one was by far the cheapest, even though we had a direct access to the beach. We were able to have dinner on the beach it was lovely! Showers are extra, you have to buy tokens, but the lenght is enough and it is hot enough! The camping is really clean. Most importantly, the woman welcoming you is really kind and helpful."

"After a difficult night trying and failing to keep our tent up in a storm, Susan (the manager) was really kind to us. She got us clean towels and coffee and made us breakfast. We were touched by her kindness. Aside from that the facilities were excellent and clean."

"We rang Green Acres last minute to try and get a spot for the night and Susan was amazing in helping us out. The site itself was beyond spotless, with a great little games room, state of the art playground, very clean campers kitchen and laundry room not to mention is four steps from a lively sandy beach. Being so close to the beach you'd expect the site to have a lot of wind but it was the opposite as it's very sheltered. Susan was a wealth of knowledge on lots of local place to see and things to do, as well as being a genuinely lovely person. It turned out that we enjoyed our stay here so much that instead of spending just one night we stayed for 3 and plan to go back. Definitely a great place as a base to explore from."

"I couldn't fault this place. I camped here in a tent with my girlfriend last week and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The site has everything you could want. Automatic secure gates. The showers are great and you get a decent length of a shower for the €1.50 token. A grand big wash up area, where you can cook if you have a portable stove. There's a nice, quiet beach just through the side gate. The owners and other occupants were lovely and friendly. One reason we chose the place was it looked well sheltered and this was indeed the case. While we could hear the sea, we were not overly exposed to the wind and we slept incredibly well. Will be back for sure."

"Really enjoyed our stay at Green Acre Caravan Park, Susan and her family have the camp site very well maintained, it's spotless. Susan made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of local information. The camp site is relaxing and very safe for children. There is a lovely playground for kids, a games room and astro turf also. There are steps down to a lovely sandy beach. And a lovely cycle into Castlegregory. We hope to return in August ☺️"
