"Staying at Mossie's is like a luxurious trip to grandma's house. There are net curtains and doylies, but the food is incredible and there's a little self-service bar beside an open fireplace. So the interior décor could be modernised in some places, but if this is the worst complaint you can make (after you've slept in the comfy beds and chatted with the friendly staff) then Mossie's isn't too bad *at all*."

"We've been here twice, and we plan to return, so that should tell you something! Matti and Vanessa are incredible hosts and everything here is perfect — from the warm hospitality, amazing bed, delicious breakfast, to the garden and friendly cats! >^..^"

"This was by far one of the best B&B experiences I ever had. Wonderful and lovely created rooms in a fantastic atmosphere and views over the ocean I will never forget. Also, the owners were very helpful and kind."

"Absolute perfection! What can I say.... Vanessa and Matti are just perfect hosts. The accommodation is gorgeous, very sympathetically restored. The very simple touches of fresh flowers the hand made soaps, shampoo and shower gel and the beautiful soft furnishings throughout make this a very special experience. The breakfast menu is plentiful and the home baked bread just lovely. A perfect location for exploring west Cork and the Beara peninsula. We look forward to returning."

"Real hidden gem. You’d be sorry to miss it if in the area! Very comfortable room and hosts are a lovely couple. Beautiful area. We visited to go cycling and was an ideal location. And finally, a fantastic breakfast! Would highly recommend. Only thing to keep in mind is that there’s “only” one pub close by which, when we visited, had its kitchen closed..which was an unfortunate surprise. Next village is only a 10 minute drive away with plenty of options, so no harm done. But would make a point to check with local place if they’re serving food and plan your evenings accordingly!"
