"Absolutely excellent museum with first class volunteer staff. Funding changes have left this slightly hidden gem in an awkward position. It is open only on certain weekends and, semi-officially, on Fridays.This glimpse into Potteries industrial heritage was a privilege."

"Nice museum showing how bone china was made back In the heyday of pottery production. The steam engine works and is fired up on select days so try and catch it on one of those if you can. Friendly knowledgeable volunteer staff and a nice cafe"

"I think you need to be really interested in the subject to enjoy this museum. Nice little tea room with second hand books for sale. Canal lock nearby which is interesting. They have some activities for children too."
