"If I could give a zero star rating I would This place killed my baby.....she only went in for a simple Spaying and ended up dying less than 24 hrs after and the "professional" who did her operation even admitted to us that she messed up and made a wrong incision and had to sew her back up and make another and told us that her temperature dropped so low that they had to just finish the job and sew her back up....so to me it just sounds like a rushed job....we are supposed to trust these people with our pets but no they have instead ruined our happy family also why would they book her in for an appointment that could possibly have complications after full well knowing they are closed the next day? Just doesnt make sense...someone needs there veterinary license taking away !!!! You have ruined our family !!! DO NOT USE THIS VETS!!!"
"I am absolutely heart broken my 17 month frenchie, happy and healthy was booked in for her spay appointment. And I was so anxious but knew it was a thing vets do all the time so tried not to stress. When I collected my baby frenchie the vet told me that she had to make 2 incisions because she couldn't find what she was looking for the 1st time. Then that my dogs temperature dropped to hyperthermia levels so they did the operation as fast as they could. Less than 24hr after her surgery she has died. MY BABY HAS DIED and I can't do anything to bring her back I need answers. I did everything they said to do. All she needed to do was recover. When she started being funny the next morning the stafford clinic said they were closed and then they advised we give her the painkiller liquid. 10 minutes after that she has a fit. And I'm racing towards the nearest branch the stone clinic to being CPR on my own puppy watching the life leave her body to be greated by the vets at the stone branch saying. She's gone she's been gone for a while. But she was alive at the start of the car journey to them to reply back well okay she's been dead for atleast 5 minutes. I'm sorry what!!! I couldn't get to you any sooner the stafford branch which is 2 mins away was closed and I did everything I could to save her in my arms. Very unprofessional response unsympathetic and I don't understand why she's dead. I want answers. And I want a refund, not paying you to be treated this way. Let this be a warning. Don't get your dog spayed on a Friday when the clinic is closed for the weekend. And hopefully your trained vet won't have to make 2 incisions on your baby."
"My dog is relaxed at Shires and the staff are all very friendly and professional. I always leave feeling like Ive been listened to about my concerns for him and have any problems explained."
