"I purchased some earrings for my wife's birthday. Once we got home and examined them closer we noticed a deep scratch that we missed in the shop . We took the earrings back for an exchange and were told that we had scratched the earrings our selves . We explained that this wasn't the case but Alex Conway the deputy manager wasn't having it and demanded that we leave the shop. Her customer service skills are shocking. Karma is a bit*h though. My advice would be to avoid crewe Warren James . The place needs closing down"

"I handed my engagement ring into repair before Christmas as a diamond had fallen from its setting. I was told mid January that my ring would be sent back to the store within 2 weeks. Once this time had passed, and the ring wasn’t returned I contacted the Crewe store for an update, as Warren James dont have a proper customer service line. I was told I would get a call with an update, but I never received such calls. I went into the store asking for an update and again I was told someone would call me. Again no one called me. I called and went into the store that many times I can’t even keep track Appalling customer service. I didn’t even get any calls saying they had no update, which should have been a courtesy. After almost 3 months the manager told me that the lady at head office that deals with repairs had been off sick. On the 1st March I had a call from the elusive customer services (who apparently can only be reached my fax within the store) saying they LOST my engagement ring. Total incompetence. I went into the Crewe store today to pick up the replacement. All the staff were standing around, chatting and looking unprofessional. I didn’t received an apology for the awful customer service or anything. In all the service at the Crewe Warren James is appalling and inexcusable. I wouldn’t recommend their services or their jewellery as an engagement ring should be built to last much longer than 2 years."
