"We moved to James with our pregnant Frenchie looking for a c section after hearing many horror stories around a natural birth for the breed. After speaking to lovely team on the desk we were invited in to meet James and the team and thank goodness we did! Flo was a nervous dog at her previous vets, James made the effort to be on hand with piggy treats and cuddles, Flo was at ease right away. James checked Flo over and recommended a natural birth. We welcomed 2 lovely healthy boys with James on email and the end of the phone if needed! James checked in with us and put us to ease the whole way. We cannot thank you or recommend you enough. What a friendly, welcoming and genuinely caring practice. We are looking forward to introducing you to our new arrivals. Thank you for everything - Flo’s humans :-)"

"The service at Goostrey vets is first class from the moment you walk in the door. Caring staff on the front desk and what James doesn’t know about his profession isn’t worth knowing. We had a French bulldog and he knows the breed incredibly well but I imagine he’s as good with other breeds. A well justified 5 stars."

"First visit for my dogs injections. The staff were super friendly and calming and professional, even when I got lost, they stayed on the phone to direct me. As soon as we arrived, James the owner met us and I instantly felt at ease. It's not easy seeing your dog get injected but James was so loving and caring towards my Sully, I felt so calm. I travelled over 45 mins because of his knowledge of bulldog breeds and it was worth it. I will be staying on as a client."
