"Don't despair if you feel you have been scammed. This happened to my wife and she lodged a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman and won on a number of points including not being given a contract for the service provided and not being given the statutory cooling off period for distance sales. I suggest you need, to in the first instance write to the Entitlements Agency demanding a full refund, and if they do not provide you a complete refund, contact the Financial Ombudsman or start a small claims procedure in the courts. You will get your money back. I will post the Financial Ombudsman Decision Reference when I get it. Please note Entitlements agency now seem to call themselves The Tax Repayment Agency."

"Been ringing me and mailing me for months and now iv been in Contact with the tax office they have directly sent my tax rebate to the entitlement agency. Now I cant get in touch with them or even get a phone call back when iv left my details so basicly been robbed of 450 pound"

"Avoid at all costs.. thieves be warned I used there service a few years ago knowing they would take a fee.. what i was not made aware of is if you use there service once they will do it every year without your knoledge.. recived a letter from hmrc about being owed money but was not aware they would automatically send my cheque to these bunch of thieves so they can take there cut for doing nothing.. just apply for your rebate yourself do not make my mistake.. was due 350 but after fees got 250"

"Do not touch this company they put the claim in and when you wait six months I chased the claim myself direct and they took £60 for the privilege! Easy to claim yourself for free! Disputing the charge with trading standards!"
