"Poor service. Cancelled my appointment with only 45 minutes notice despite the stylist being off all morning with plenty of time to let me know meaning I had no hair cut for upcoming holiday event. No offer of compensation for another visit. Will not be booking again."

"I had a day here last week. I booked in and went for a consultation with Andrew who talked me through my options and when i said a few of the different colours that i was interested in he explained which were more upkeep, which would suit me best both in terms of appearance and how much work i wanted to put into it (how often i wanted to come in to maintain it, how much effort each would require etc). I know very little about hair and havent been to a hairdresser for many years and he was very good at making me comfortable and explaining everything. I was then booked in with the lovely Carlos. I talked to him about what i was aiming for and he was brilliant. He was friendly and chatty (which is good because I talk too much for most to handle so it was great to have someone who could match up with me on that and not make me conscious that I was talking too much as I usually do). He explained how long it was likely to take and what he was doing and why as he was doing it, and chatting away felt like i was talking to a good friend and really helped the hours pass. At the end my hair looked great (especially considering how id neglected it for a while before). He did a great job lightening it and it feels healthier than it has in years. The salon is reasonably priced and its a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere too. I was incredibly happy and very impressed with the whole experience and will definitely be returning."
