"Lovely views over the Irish Sea with the Isle of Man being visible on a clear day. The car park contains a few picnic benches, toilets and an information board. This car park can be exceptionally busy because it is very popular with hill walkers."

"I left my hiking boots here 14/11/22, the Saturday just gone. There not where I left them so someone has picked them up. If anyone saw anything and could let me know it would be much appreciated. Does anyone have the contact info for the coffee van that pulls up? They might have seen something."

"Good starting and end point for a walk up the Mournes. Toilets, carpark and picnic area. No children’s area for running around unsupervised. Coastal path and a favourite spot for ‘bouldering’ along the river. A note of caution if walking; there is no footpath along road from bloody bridge carpark to Newcastle for about a mile until you get closer to Newcastle"

"Beautiful coastal walk leading to a trek upriver, jumping between stones under the road bridge leading to the Bloody Bridge itself. Bring a change of socks and good footwear. On hot summer days, or if brave in the colder seasons, take a dip in the natural fresh water pool under the bridge. Blackberries galore end Summer to October. If the upriver trek is too adventurous then there is a well kept path to the bridge over the road."
