"Food is really nice but it wouldn't be difficult to have vegan cheese on the menu. Our waiter seemed really moody and quiet until half way through then he was more cheerful, it was strange. The atmosphere is amazing, I would argue the prettiest restaurant anywhere near Hull"

"Piccolo is my favourite place to dine. The staff always go above and beyond, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. This week because of the half price January offer, I have been in three times. Just cannot get enough, love! There is a member of staff called Tony who always goes above and beyond. He made my little girl day as well as ours."

"Really nice place to eat. Food is good. My only complaint if you like is, it is pricey for what you get. We ordered the chicken dish which was about £18 and it was a chicken breast with sauce and 2 thin slices of toasted bread. You have to buy chips/salad/vegetables as a side extra. Same with meatballs. You get about 4 good sized balls with sauce, no pasta etc. However it didn't spoil the evening and the staff were super polite and friendly. Worth a trip of celebrating. Plenty of birthday cheers going around the place."
