Shire Pharmacy

"I worked here for 3 months. My coworker who was the pharmacist was lovely to work with and we got on great. Until I worked there, the place didn't get cleaned on a regular basis, there was dust everywhere and things were disorganised. There's only one fire exit which is the front door ( I pulled this up with the manager and she did nothing about it) which meant the workers lives and customers lives was at risk. I didn't get my final pay after asking my ex manager time and time again. I also got charged roughly £250 for a course I didn't complete and didn't get told I had to pay for out of my own wages (my final wage). I never got a contract whilst I was there as they expected me to be self employed and I had to beg for my wage slips. The place is going down hill and it's so unsafe (yes I have reported it)"

"My family have been using Shire Pharmacy for years now - lovely staff, always take care of things, fantastic service. Have been able to deliver our monthly medication and take time to explain all items."

"I would like to share publicly the experience my poor husband went through with this shoddy pharmacy. We went to collect his script only to be told it wasn't there but at a younger staff members house ! We were not informed of this by the staff member. She then returned it to the pharmacy in the next few days! Scripts that leave the pharmacy have to be duped (thrown away) whether in date etc And cannot be returned to shelf for contamination or being tampered with. Scripts made up should by correct pharmacy procedure should be left on shelf for 12 weeks/ 3 months from date of being dispensed . My husband was not given this opportunity. We reported this to the owner who stated no wrongdoing had been done! She clearly does not bother to adhere to pharmacy rules and regulations. Therefore how can she advise her supervisor to do the same. He had 10 days of waiting for the same prescription which had clearly been duped out of sheer spite. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour , I advise you to avoid this place like the plague!"

"First of all take no notice of Dan Owens review below, he has a friend who works there and has been reported to Google as a fake review! Do not use this pharmacy , the supervisor is rude and so is the owner. They mismanaged my prescription and then threw it away without my knowledge! I had to wait a further week or so to get this same prescription from somewhere else! Made complaint to owner however didn't want to know, said she believed there was no wrongdoing! She then totally ignored my 2nd email. What a pathetic unprofessional pharmacy. Even getting staff to get partners to leave false reviews!"
